Graceful and steadfast, the magnificent homes of Philadelphia's Main Line represent the epitome of American Craftsmanship. These are homes with character, with romance.. influenced by the architecture of Country French chateaus and English estates. Cotswold, Tudor, French Provincial. Even the names speak of romance and county pleasures.
There is a tradition here, for the homes of Carrington are designed and built by Jon Warner Homes, Inc. Jon's grandfather, Frederick Warner of Wallace and Warner, designed many of the Main Line homes of Gladwyne, Rosemont, Bryn Mawr, St. Davids, and Haverford in the 1920's. Now Jon is carrying on the three-generation legacy of Frederick Warner, and his son Jon's father, Robert G. Warner. Creating a whole sense of place here in Lancaster.
You might think of Carrington as a world of it's own. Main Line without the traffic and the railroad whistling through. At Carrington, the sounds you hear are the call of the weeping willow, the chattering of the crickets and echoes of tiny frog singing their harmony. This a secret respite, tucked away, yet close to schools, shopping, restaurants, theater, and the arts.
